The Epilepsy Association of Big Bend will strive to meet the needs of individuals whose lives are affected by epilepsy.

Who we are

The Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend provides services throughout a 14-county area. The counties served are:  Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Wakulla, and Washington. It is estimated that 6,500 people have epilepsy within this area.

Who we serve

Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend provides various services to children and adults who have epilepsy and live in Florida.  Any resident of Florida who is diagnosed with epilepsy, or is suspected of having epilepsy, and who needs the program’s services can apply to be a client.  The services include sponsoring medical care, emergency medicine, case management, and educational community programs

Support group info

Epilepsy support group was established for people with epilepsy, their families, coworkers, friends, and those who would like to know more about epilepsy.  Epilepsy support group meets every second Thursday of the month in Tallahassee and every third Wednesday of the month in Panama City. Please contact your nearest office to confirm time and place. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing your experience, strength, and hope in managing your epilepsy with us!
